Hi all..

Just got some clear skies and saw a new feature that allows SX cam to take a picture only if cooling is on and a specific temperature, most of times I don't use the cooler and that made caused some truble
imho the feature should respect the setting in INDI controlpanel if the cooler is on or off, I mean that if cooler is switched off in the INDI controlpanel then there should be no truble taking a pic whatever the temperature is, if cooler is switched on then it is a good thing.
For now I had to modify the SXdriver a bit just to get a pic at all, i changed a line in the driver to : cap.hasCooler = false;

Well.. now it's cloudy again..

Hi Markku, is it really a feature of SX driver? I don't see any limitation to take a picture whenever you want. Peter

Yes this has nothing to do with SX per se, but Ekos tries to set the temperature to the target temperature before taking an image. I just added a checkbox so that you can take an image regardless of temperature settings.
