I am trying to move up to the latest Kstars stable release 3.6.8. I am running Ubuntu 22.04.3 on an Rpi4.
I followed:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mutlaqja/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install indi-full kstars
I left off the bleeding because I did not want a development mode I wanted a STABLE release. the instruction that came back said that this ppa was for Stable releases.
I downloaded and opened Kstars and it says it is Kstars 3.5.7 !?
OK, I answered my own question. I put the "-bleeding" back on that line and it did download 3.6.8. I would have preferred a more self explanatory syntax like download "kstars-stable" but I guess this works.
