When installing gsc it's a good idea to install it on the system where the indiserver resides, i.e. the pc or sbc at the pier if you are configured that way.
I have installed the Stellarmate software on a Raspberry PI 3B+. I have managed to get it working with a HEQ5-mount and a Canon EOS 700D. There are still some minor issues, but I will send a message about that later on.
Due to cloudy skies at the moment I want to learn the software better by using the GSC database and the CCD simulator. I have installed GSC database with the command :
sudo apt-get install gsc
I can find the folder /usr/share/GSC
I also added
GSCDAT = /usr/share/GSC
GSCBIN = /usr/share/GSC/bin
as environment variables.
When I start Ekos and try to shoot a picture I still get the error :
GSC Got no stars is gsc installed ...
I probably missed a step. Can somebody help me?
kind regards,
Gunther

It seemed the gsc package was corrupted. When running gsc in comman line. It says there was no command. I removed the complete package and reïnstalled it with apt-get. It works now
