I wondered if a SBC with a built-in RTC would make any difference in guiding.

I decided I would try to build an INDI-SERVER on a LattePanda Delta 432 System.

I downloaded Ubuntu 20.04 image and installed a NVME SSD. (The internal drive would not list on the Ubuntu loader).

I loaded 20.04, installed INDI-FULL and INDI-WEB.

Made changes to the Rules.d folder for my Esatto 3" Focuser and put it on my CEM60EC mount.

Maybe it's just luck, but my guiding is down to .23" Total RMS about .14 on RA and .16 on DEC.

Would having an RTC on board make that much of a difference?

Anyone know?
