I didn't know I could cast my desktop to the Google display products like the Chromecast or Home displays.

I use a desktop to run K-Stars / EKOS and I can cast the display to my Google TV, Chromecast or Home display to monitor it's progress.

You just need to open a browser and cast your desktop from Sources and select a device you want to cast to, the browser will ask which screen to send to the display. I have 3 screens on my desktop to run K-Stars.

It works pretty good to keep tabs on your imaging session while cooking or something.
