kstars - Ekos window too large

Hello. I recently managed to install kstars 2.4 on my RPI2 via Raspbian Jessie. My RPI2 is connected to a 800x480 toutchscreen

I have a problem of use:

I can resize the window KStars. But when I want to resize the window Ekos it is impossible. The minimum size is too large to fully display.

Would it be possible to reduce the minimum window size so we can resize it as we please (even have scrollbars bar)?

You can use KWin to set all window settings and save them. Just right click the title bar ---> More Actions --> Special Window Settings

KWin is part of KDE, so any distro where your desktop environment is KDE.

Hello.

I tried to install kwin on Raspbian but impossible to use.

The ability to resize the window ekos is great!

But the minimum size of the INDI drivers configuration windows and window "kstars config" are too large to be displayed in 800x480.

It'll be great to be able to resize as the EKOS window

In my laptop (kubunutu 15.10) i manage to resize the window and i saw that the window was too high minimum size (~800x800). A minimal size of (500,300) would be great !!

Hi dragonlost,

I've the same problem on my 7 years old netbook. The native screen resolution is just too small.
I'm using a workaround to mitigate the problem. There is a nice command line tool which rescales your resolution.
It's called xrandr. For me this line works:
xrandr -output LVDS1 --mode 1024x600 --scale 1x1.2 --panning 1024x720
Depending on your monitor geometry, you have to change the parameters.
