My Ubuntu 22.04 LTS running KStars and indiserver could not connect to EqMod .
It was throwing the following error message in the indiserver console:
" /dev/ttyUSB0 access failed: No such file or directory"
After much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth I discovered that it was a conflict between the
brltty daemon and EqMod's ability to use /dev/ttyUSB0. I don't want to be too much of an "ableist" , yet when I removed brltty from my Ubuntu machine like this:
sudo apt remove brltty
EqMod started working perfectly.
If
Wanda Diaz Merced
wants to use my rig, I'll hook up my OSX machine to it for her.
