In EKOS is there any advantage, value or point in using a Hitec Astro USB Guiding Adapter for ST4 control on an EQ6 mount?

If there are positives then how should the USB Guiding be set up?

Thanks in advance.

Usually the guide cameras have ST4 ports so no need for separate adapter. Plus there is no INDI driver for it.

Thanks for the reply.

Just to clarify, therefore when using a ZWO ASI120MM as a guide camera in Ekos, I should simply connect the regular 6-core ST4 cable to the ZWO camera ST4 port and the ST4 port on the mount and Ekos will control the guiding via the ST4 cable?
