Hello,
I so wish for a static library version of KStars-Bleeding. While, I love advancing, abandoning the LTS versions of OS creates major problems for us which use the machine for other purposes.

OR, provide a step by step to compile it on the LTS.

Best wishes,
Dan

Hello,

No answer here ? Just want to say that it would be nice to find a solution.
One the one hand, I like kstars-bleeding, ekos and all stuff and on the other hand I really love working on my stable mint 17 machine.

I try to migrate to a fresh kubuntu 15.04 only for my use of ekos and it was a nightmare  . It feels like working with a beta version of an OS. Freezing and buggy system... I lost a lot of time.

Back to Mint 17, I try to compile kstars-bleeding from sources. Problems came with all the dependencies to kf5. I need help here.

Thank you.

Sébastien.

Hi,

I found a solution with a virtual machine Virtualbox and Ekos VM .
Works fine.
