Camera disconnects

New to Indi. Not new to Linux or astronomy. I'm using Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 and Indi GPhoto 2.9 - Kstars 3.4.2. Using the Canon DSLR driver.

After some issues getting my Canon T6i to connect using the canon driver, that seems to be ok now. It connects and I can capture data fine.

Several times during my sessions, I would be doing something and a sequence would end. It seems like if I don't fairly immediately start another capture sequence, the camera sleeps or something and it disconnects. I have to restart the server to get it to reconnect. Sometimes I've restarted the camera but I don't know if that is strictly necessary.

I'm coming from a few years of using Ascom. This isn't t something I have seen happen with this camera there, so I am wondering what I can do to keep it from happening using Indi.

thanks
