Hi all,

after installation of new os linux mint 21.3 i found several issues
in ekos like crash if the ccd cam make a loop, no image train was found
nothing to choose , All connected devices recognized correctly, but with connected mount
the mount pad did not work .

I think the problem is the new os linux mint 21.3 ?

Mount Ioptron GEM 45 G, ASI 1600 MC cooled, ZWO EAF Focuser ,
Kstars 3.6.8 stable , running ASUS Vivobook 16 G RAM , AMD RYZEN 5000 series

I hope you can help ?

Can you see if 3.6.9 helps any? I think it is out now. I did also encounter the bug where you can't click on the imaging train to make a new one. Im not sure what I did, but eventually by clicking back and forth between the EKOS tabs was able to make the button live again and make a new imaging train (in a fresh install, as in without an imaging train set at all).

You might also make sure and update all packages even though you just installed it. Im assuming mint is still
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
like all debian based OS.

Good luck.

Hi,

I use Mint 21.3 and I got no issue with my setup, using an ASI 071 MC, Qhy guide camera and a SW HEQ5 pro, up to now. I used Kstars and Ekos from PPA.

I know it isn't helpful, maybe it comes from the mount.
