Yes. I'm compiling it myself.
I did some more testing. I removed compiled version and installed latest kstars-bleeding with apt-get. Polar Alignment works perfectly! Then I removed that and compiled latest master branch again. PA is still broken but everything else is working. So probably I do something wrong when I compile it. I use these instructions for compiling:
