OK... rather than trying to compile everything from scratch, I tried first with StellarMate, latest version after letting itself update last night.

StellarMate finds the Sesto Sense 2 focuser, but whenever I click on the imaging loop button, not auto-focussing yet, the motor just goes off and I could not stop it.

Autofocussing did not work either. It goes all over the place but did not find focus... even when being in focus at the start of the routine, I wanted SM to do the fine tuning... Again it goes everywhere takes lots of images, but not finding focus.

I tried different setting in the process and mechanics to no avail.
