My system is a fanless Celeron J4125, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS with Xfce Desktop Environment.

I use a 12V powered TP-Link UH720 HUB 3.0 USB hub to link cameras and other devices (QHY268M, QHY5III178M, QHYCFW3, HEQ5, Pegasus Focuscube).

Power is ensured by a Meanwell LRS-150-12 150W 12V transformer.

Right now I'm on the bleeding edge of both Indi, Indi3rdparty, Kstars etc... I have hiccups and error from time to time, but since I'm still perfecting my latest setup (switched from an "easy" 80mm Apo to a dreadful RC8), I do not mind much. In my opinion, the secret is that after you have a flawless configuration (if such a thing exists) in terms of equipment, the next step is to aim for maximum stability in the software and then STOP upgrading!!! At least until you decide that some additional features are necessary... or you want to make your life more difficult ;-).

my two cents.

Best (and thanks again to Nou for making my life easier)
Massimo
