Kstars 3.7.0 and INDI 2.0.7 are now available for AstroArch!

Because of deprecated dependencies (pipewire-media-session) this version of indi will likely fail to update at the first update-astroarch, run it twice (the second time in a new terminal window) and on the second run confirm with Y when pacman will ask to replace pipewire-media-session with wireplumber.

Enjoy and clear skies to everyone!

Thanks for the update - keen to give it a go. Sadly, I've run update-astroarch about 5 times and it never gives me the option to remove pipewire-media-session. Is there a flag I can pass to update-astroarch to force it to pause/say yes?

I just swapped to bleeding-edge and that removed pipewire and replaced it with wireplumber. so no need to worry!

That is what I was going to suggest :)

I forgot to write that the change I pushed for user prompt must reload the env to work so you needed to pop a new terminal. Gonna update the initial message thanks Troy!

Please explain the steps needed to do this so I can decide if I want to try it. If I do try it, am I then stuck on the bleeding edge, or can I get back to stable?

indilib.org/forum/astro-arch/14472-bleed...ere-kstars-indi.html has the commands and you can swap back whenever you need/want to.
