I tried this camera over the weekend and none of my raspberry pi's recognize this camera, however two Ubuntu PC's using INDI/kstars do.
I then tried a windows machine and it also failed to recognize this one camera while recognising all my other zwo cameras.
At this point i was going to send the camera back to the retailer but i thought to try another windows 10 machine, with newly installed camera driver and it worked..
If i could have some help figuring this out please.
Why two ubuntu machines using INDI detect this camera while the raspberry pi's do not.
Is there a way i can see what version of the indi_asi software is on one of my pi's and see how that compares to one of my Pc's?
On the pi's it does show up with lsusb or at least a device ID shows. (03c3:462c)Theres no text name showing though in the next field i,e ("ASI462") like it does on my ubuntu pc's.
Im thinking the pi's version of the asi driver is out of date?
The pi that i have with me here at work is saying all software packages are up to date.
Might be that you are still using the old and no more supported 32 bits version of Stellarmate.
The move was done somewhere at the beginning of this year.
Only solution is to do a fresh install with the last 64 bits version.
i have just re downloaded astroberry and fully upgraded it etc.
It works for an asi183mc, asi294mm, asi432mm but still not asi462mm.
Its there a definitive list of supported ASI cameras?
