In polar alignment module the star selected to judge the movement jumps

Hi
Just updated kstars/ekos and the polar alignment module now displays little “lights” as it goes through the stages or rotating and capturing etc.

That seems to all go fine right up to the point you have to select a star to use as a guide as you adjust the alt and az. When I select a star things seem to jump and then I’m some way off from the star. This used to work fine.

Also it doesn’t seem very consistent between alignment attempts with sometimes it showing the need for a large adjustment and then the next run not or not showing (pretty much) any adjustment needed in one of the directions then the next showing a need for quite a bit.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

Regards

Nigel

Found someone over on the astroberry forum hitting the same thing so I’ve raised a bug which is being looked into.
