Just wanted to start imaging, slewed to target, started the plate solver - and it ran and ran and ran without finding a solution. Damn, that used to work in seconds! Back to park position, try again there - works. Hum. Back to target - nothing. WHAT!?
Looks I have to check the scope (it's outside, I'm inside). No, that is indeed not pointing where it should.

Took me a while to see that the cable for the declination motor had come lose. So no dec movement, whatever I command the mount to do. No wonder it works at park position, but nowhere else....
Plug in cable, restart the controller, and suddenly plate solving works again after slew
