I just tried the latest version and Kstars always crashes when I tried to find and object via Command-F.

Hi Andreas - what operating system are you using? I was having that problem on MacOS and the latest Beta build (3.6.1) no longer exhibits that problem.

Ok, two big fixes were just pushed for the find dialog bug and for the startup crash bug with the asteroids.dat file. I just rebuilt the dmg here:

I uploaded a dmg last night fixing a bunch of things, did you try that one?

The one we posted yesterday should completely correct the find dialog bug.

I'm running OS 12.5.1 with the latest KStars 3.6.0 build that Rob pushed out and it's working fine so far. Find Object works without crashing KStars.
