I just found this thread and wanted to say that im having these issues as well over the last couple of days since upgrading to 1.7.5
I have a QHY 294c which seems to be able to take 1 image then doesnt respond or returns a black image.
Also seen the program close and reopen when trying to take images.
im still learning and trying to get my system running, so im not sure how to run debug etc,
I have used the system updater icon to upgrade from 1.7.2 - 1.7.3 - 1.7.4 - 1.7.5 over the last few months. the 1.7.5 update was done late last week which is when these issues started.
I have downloaded the full 1.7.5 file and will try that on a new SD card.
Hi, Did the new SDcard new install fix your issue ? im still having issues , for example, please try a Plate solve and then a PAA, i can do one but not both.
I was able to take a string of images but then doing something else seems to then cause an issue.
No, the fresh sdcard with 1.7.5, shows the same issue. It seems to concerne the main camera and not the camera guide.
Connections OK, but next QHY driver crashes and also the system.
1.7.5 was making driver/INDI troubles with my setup too, i have finally resolved the issue and i am now operating without an issue.
In my case, it was an ASI294MC (USB3) and ASI120MM mini (USB2), each connected via their own USB port.
Making it work again involved two changes:
1. Connected the ASI120MM mini to the USB2 hub on the backside of the ASI294MC, which i connected to USB2, but later on i found out that USB3 also worked in this setting.
2. I had to change the EKOS settings from "zwo-camera2" driver on first camera, "zwo camera1" on second camera dropdown fields to only "ZWO-CCD" on the first camera dropdown field, leaving the second camera field empty.
So i suggest a change in the driver management or drivers in the recent indilib coming with 1.7.5 caused problems with usual settings, maybe exclusive to Stellarmate-OS driven devices.
I would try to adjust your settings, if possible - because i don't know anything about driver choices regarding QHY cameras - to use different ways to connect your cameras. If you're lucky it will work and you are able to do astrophotography again, until driver issues are resolved with a future update of kstars/indilib.
