I have just ordered this new camera for testing purposes. I am not sure if it will be compatible with current SVBony INDI driver.
Thread for SVBony drivers has been closed by Jasem, so I have created this one.
Maybe Collin will be able to answer this question.
Lately I have been writing INDI Driver code for SVBONY cameras.
Today I also ordered the SV605MC.
I believe it will probably work with the current driver. If it does not work I will take good care of it.
I received my SV605MC today.
At first, I tried shooting landscapes in Y16 (monochrome 16bit).
The SVBONY INDI driver seems to be working without any issues.

I got my SV605MC this Monday and started testing it. I am confused about one setting in the driver: "12 bits 16 bits stretch". What is it good for, what is the purpose of this setting?
"12 bits 16 bits stretch" is my recommendation to use Off at all times.
This option remains for historical reasons, but I do not believe it is necessary today.
This option has existed since before I became a contributor to indi svbony driver.
At that time, image data retrieval was always at 8-bit depth, so the option to stretch to 16-bit was probably provided.
I am confused where to find this 3rd party driver. Does it need to be downloaded separately?
Currently, I only see the SV305 driver, but no SV605MC or 3rd party driver under the CCD dropdown list
Select "SVBONY CCD" in Camera 1 and/or 2 in the Profile Editor.
If you cannot select "SVBONY CCD", your INDI is not up-to-date.
Astroberry, for example, has stopped updating and only "SVBONY SV305" is available, which is a very old driver.
To use the "SVBONY CCD", you will need to choose a distribution that includes the latest drivers or build your own based on the source code.
