so 100% fresh install of High Sierra (ie: disk wiped)
I've installed in the following order:

Google Chrome
Kstars
brew

Then from Kstars:
I ran the initial setup as in data folder copy and download GSC data
I started the simulators
Alignment tab
clicked on python / setup and it prompted me with the message about installing brew/python3/astropy
And the astropy installed did not work.


So I pip3 installed it, went back into Kstars and it keeps saying that it's not installed
