I would like to make it an Ekos feature request that the port and system port choices made on the Mount connection tab be persisted in the configuration, at least optionally. Once the user has specified the ports, he should not need to go through this exercise in every new session. With the current setup as it is, I MUST turn off auto-connection of devices when I start the system. This should not be necessary.

Have you tried saving the mount driver settings (on the drivers configuration tab)?

If you look up-thread at the screenshot of the mount connection setting screen I posted, you won’t find a Save button. That would be the new feature I’m asking for.

Yes, the Clicking the Save button on the Options Tab did provide the functionality I was looking for.

But I don't think it's the greatest UI to have a Save button on one tab saving a settings change made on another tab. Very confusing. But at least there is a way.
