With recent INDI update on ubuntu 18
The QHY 5-II flawlessly worked last week till the update went out. Today, I cannot get hold of the cam at all using indi-qhy
Can anyone help??

- Celestron 150x30 + ASI224 for guiding
- Celestron Focuser for harp stars
SW:
- Linux NUC + Ubuntu + INDI nightly on the server
- Linux Ubuntu + KSTARS nightly on the client (via CAT5 wire)
Not sure if this is the issue, but there was a number of new camera firmware updates with one of the recent QHY updates. If the camera was connected and powered on when the update was done, then you may need to power-off/disconnect and reconnect to ensure it gets updated firmware.
My QHY5-II works fine with all the new QHY lib releases up to 4.0.14.
I have the same problem: Since I upgraded to indi v1.7.6 the qhy driver crashes on startup.
The camera was not connected when I upgraded to the latest version.
There is an update for 4.0.15 which fixes bugs introduced in the prior 4.0.14.. I am waiting for QHY to fix a couple of issues before I can release it.
