GPhoto Driver Crashing from Disconnect-Reconnect

This is a long standing, unresolved behaviour. GPhoto/Canon DSLR drivers will crash KStars if I attempt to disconnect the camera INDI driver and reconnect it.
Currently running a self compiled bleeding edge build from yesterday.

INDI + INDI-GPhoto bleeding edge too? or just KStars? I fixed this issue a few days ago.

Bleeding Edge. Everything crashes, including KStars.
I am about to begin compiling once more to test the debeyer in live view fix. So I will check this behavior once more when it is done.

I tried to replicate the issue but currently can't. Indi is on nightlies and KStars is a git-compiled version as of today. I did a screen recording, maybe you can find something that I did differently. What else could I try to cause a crash?

Herrhausen: That sounds promising.
The only thing I do to repeat the fault was start INDI server. Disconnect the camera driver, then reconnect it.
In my experience to date it would crash everything unless I stop the INDI server and all other drivers entirely.

Did you watch the screen recording that I had attached?

Yes. I am now attempting to successfully compile it myself.

I have managed to work through my compiling issues and got to test the patch.
I no-longer experience any crashes while disconnecting/reconnecting the driver. However there is a new issue with Live View streams opening additional, yet blank, windows after doing so. One additional window for each disconnect/reconnect cycle.
May be related to this other bug fix. here

Please undo commit 5fd1517. It is causing a crash on connect to the camera. Otherwise all issues appeared to have been fixed in previous patches.

Thank you. I have re-run a fresh compile and everything regarding this issue appears to be resolved. Thank you for your excellent support.
