I have the Omegon 533C camera that works with the Toupcam driver.



While I am troubleshooting my flats - and not only - I am paying attention on more details. I can see that the camera max out at 16383 ADU, so for that reason I shoot for 8200 ADU to achieve a 50% histogram. And here is the part that confuses me...
If I am not mistakes, besides that I shoot at 8200 ADU, the histogram reaches only at 25% (?)

In KStars, you're looking at the 8bit non-linear histogram. You can change FITS settings in Settings --> Configure --> FITS to examine the linear histogram.
