Good evening folks!
I want to present a problem I addressed using the guiding module of Ekos.
Even if I select "autoselect star" in the guiding options, I am not successful in selecting automatically a guide star for guiding. Pushing the "Guide" button, indeed, Ekos always centers a region in wich no stars are present in the green square used as ROI of my guide camera, even if in the FOV many suitable stars appear. This occurs also by selecting "high pass" or "autostretch" in the FOV visualization.
Of course this is a problem, especially if I schedule to acquire a mosaic and I need to leave the telescope alone.
Do you have some suggestions to solve my problem?

P.S: I use an OAG + ZWO ASI 120MC-S for guiding.

Try with a different algorithm like SEP. You can change that in guide settings.
