Might be due to the libs which we have not edited in the cmake build method...

I saw that error a bunch of times yesterday when I was trying the cmake method, which is why I brought it up with you guys. I hope we can solve this problem!

I just found a really good reason to have the cmake version as an alternative. Right now there is an emerge server failure it seems.

Sorry I haven't been much help over the last day or so. My wife and I had an event to go to yesterday and it left me very tired today, so I slept in. But you have made really great progress.

HOORAY!! We primarily just need the cmake version to work on a dev machine. If we can get the emerge version to build us a fully working copy and the cmake to get a development copy, that will be just fine.

For the KF5, you may have to play with the order as to which KF5 must be installed. Sorry I cannot remember the exact order but I know some of them are complaining at the build and throw an error. All you have to do is install the other KF5 that it needs.
That ^^ might make not much sense, but as you install the brew KF5 you'll see.

Cool, glad I was able to help. Yes if you follow my steps, it should work fine.
I did install brew qt5 but it wasn't used at all, as far I can see.
