Unworkable delay for image transfer

Hi

I have tried a number of different incarnations of KStars/Ekos installs, including Stellarmate, Astroberry and Rons L's scripts, to no avail.

I'm running on a RPi4, with either a MAC or Windows machine running at the client side. Everything seems to be working well, however when I take an image with my QHY183C camera, it either takes MANY minutes to transfer across to the client or it just hangs completely. For processes like platesolving this just doesn't cut it.

If I VNC into the machine, then it happen in seconds, however using VNC is a nightmare with lag.

My ASI120MM works quicker (which I would expect with the smaller filesize), but I can't see how because it's 30MB file it could be this slow.

Has anybody seen this before, I seem to be chasing my tail

Thanks

Paul

Is this when using RPI4 via WiFi Hotspot? have you tried Ethernet for example to see if the network is somehow the culprit?

Good question, and I feel dumb for not trying that! Will check tonight. I have since gone back to Stellarmate and updated to the latest version and it does seem to have lowered the numbers considerably. Will check and let you know. Thanks for the quick reply!

I am pretty much having the same issue on my Astroberry with my QHY183C. However, with my other ZWO cameras, like 120MM mini, 2600MM, even Canon EOS M100, they don't have this issue.
I have the log attached.

Seems the forum is having issues. There is no need to post again when the error appears. The post still makes it through.

Interesting app, Mine appears to be really good and I am a fair distance for 5GHz connectivity. Cheers
