I recently installed Debian 12 on an old PC and it is working well. Installing KStars via the Flatpak repository worked and I got version 3.6.6 Stable. However none of the EKOS or INDI functions are there. I've seen posts that compilation errors can cause this to happen. I don't know if there is anything I can do to fix this. Install /update via a different method? Thanks for any advice, Rick
I don't think either Flatpak or Snap packages include INDI and therefore will not include Ekos. It would be a miracle if someone can get this done due to all the complexity with INDI access to raw devices..etc in addition to the udev rules. Right now the only way to install everything is via Debian packages (which are available for Ubuntu 22.04+ only) or from source.
