Astrometry index files for canon 600d at 2000mm

Hello,
which index files do I need for plate solving with a Canon 600D (5984x3456 pixels, 4,29um) at 2000mm focal length?
The FOV as calculated with online fov astro calculator is 0,73°x0,42° 8 (~(40'x24'). Does the requirement of 10% refer to the long or the short side or the diagonal?
If it is the long side or the diagonal, everything is ok for me.
If it is the short side, I will have to install the 2.0-2.8 arcmin index files (13,6GB), which would exeed the available disk space.
If I really need these index files, is there a way to change the index-file folder? I could add disk space by adding an sd-card...

Thank you

Christian

I think the 10% is the conservative estimate, at least in practice. But if you ever needed to add them, you can add them to any disk and modify /etc/astrometry/astrometry.cfg file to point to the new path (or add a new path)
