Osx, kstars 3.4.3 sextractor is missing, using the internal one.

Not sure what’s wrong but on my MacBook it came with KStars.

Did you upgrade kstars from a previous version os is this a fresh install?
In my case, this is a fresh install, re-installed the mac mini and installed kstars 3.4.3 so no upgrade like I've done multiple times on the laptop.

so I've downloaded the dmg file and extracted the content and I can see 'sex' is in the bin folder

I'm going to re-install kstars now and see how it goes, this is very very strange !!!

Well I'll be damned, I have re-installed it and it's there and working, the sextractor part so this thread is solved and I will try to figure out about the solver and might open a new thread.
