I would not suggest it right now myself.
Just tried a new install of Ubuntu 224.04LTS on one of my mini PCs using the PPA.
When going to install KStars/INDI/EKOS I got a warning of
Some packages could not be installed. Thi smay mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been removed out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
indi-full: Depdends: indi-apogee but it is not going to be installed
Depends: indi-astroasis but is not installable

You mean compilation with my script? Bookwork should work just fine.
Also tested my script on Ubuntu 24.04 server in virtual machine and it is working fine. There are some cmake warning but otherwise it is ok. Could not run it because GUI doesn't work in my virtual machine so only compilation test.
