KStars crashes on connecting Ekos profile with Sky-Watcher EQMOD mount driver was created by Avocette

Just updated Astroberry from KStars 3.5.5 to 3.5.6 using ‘sudo apt update’ followed by ‘sudo apt upgrade’. Open KStars, start up my usual Ekos profile with ZWO cameras and Sky-watcher EQMOD mount (EQDirect cable connection to AZGTi) and KStars crashes. Wake up KStars again, replace the EQMOD mount in the Ekos profile with the Telescope Simulator and KStars continues to run.
Currently running KStars/Ekos/Indi on two Raspberry Pi 4Bs 4GByte under Raspberry Pi OS thanks to Astroberry
Two mounts, two Fracs, a Newt and a Mak and a couple of OSC cameras.

I have the same issue. kstars crashes when I connect to EQMOD. This is after the upgrade to 3.5.6.
