better this time!!
CCD failed on first try at preview, but succeeded on second try (did not lock up). Then failed a couple of times randomly as I continued to take previews.

indi-qhy version correct at 1.6+r2720~201611140916~ubuntu16.04.1

Odd logs shows all images captured fine. How does it "fail" exactly? Ekos error message?

Hi Jasem,

it just stays there saying image completed, but nothing comes up in the fits viewer.
Wuld it be worthwhile taking a set of say 10 images and seeing if they are saved, rather than using the fits viewer to see if they completed?

Patrick reported a similar problem and turned out it was due to using PHD2 as external guiding app. Unless you explicitly enable "Receive remote images" from the guide settings then blobs are disabled. Now Capture module would be able to tell if the BLOB was disabled due to this and warn the user, but that fix is due tomorrow in the PPA.
