Can't get my DSLR connected to my Ubuntu system. INDI server just won't go online with it and in the device manager I get the following error log:
2019-01-23T19:16:10: Driver indi_gphoto_ccd: indi_gphoto_ccd: symbol lookup error: indi_gphoto_ccd: undefined symbol: _ZN4INDI3CCD13ISSnoopDeviceEP8_xml_ele

2019-01-23T19:16:10: Driver indi_gphoto_ccd: pid=4482 rfd=4 wfd=8 efd=9
And then he's trying it couple of times with same failed results.
Does anyone know what this means, what the problem could be and how to solve it?
This took a long time, and it looked like the whole OS was upgraded. Anyway, after that, the GPhotoCCD was working well and my DSLR is now happily snapping away.
I re-compiled and now it doesn't crash right at the start anymore. Once it crased after the first photo was taken. Right now it runs without crashing but I am wary... Does anybody experience similar issues?
You are using bleeding edge so you need to recompile libindi first then indi-gphoto since there was quite a few changes in the last few days for performance improvements.
Thanks for the reply! Yes, this is standard procedure here. indi, 3rdparty, kstars. The problem did not re-occur until now so I hope I'll never see it again.
