Although this may not be the normal workflow for KStars users, to me it seems it would be useful if the video feed window from my DSRL in KStars would be capable of displaying the crosshairs and zoom that are available in the Fits window. This would allow me to centre alignment stars more precisely than the screen of my DSLR, using Kstars while completing the Mount's (CGEM-DX) alignment routine.
As an alternative do users typically do their alignment by multiple plate solving within KStars and ignore the mount's alignment? I presume this would preclude using NexStar polar alignment.
