I am testing out my old EQ5-Pro mount prior for possible sale. I have been using an HEQ5Pro for 2 years and this works fine using INDI/EKOS.
When I connect my old EQ5 to the server I obviously have to reset the parking position :
1. Unpark in EKOS
2. Goto eg Polaris or usual position for parking eq mount in N.
3. In EQMod Mount (control panel) Parking position -> Current, Write data
4. Unlock clutches and move mount to chosen position, then lock clutches.
Park, unpark , goto, park all works fine as regard parking.

However if I do a test goto during day it is quite a way off (5-10degrees in RA and DEC).
I'm using an angle meter and a compass to test if it looks in the right ballpark.
 
My guess is it that INDI is still using the mount motor settings from the HEQ5. Will this correct itself with proper alignment or did I forget to clear something ?

ok I used "Purge all configuration" in EKOS Mount tab. Seems within my compass accuracy now and looks consistent.
No obviously wrong goto's.
It's cloud and rain here for quite a while so can't use any stars !!!
