So I am running my AM5 for the first time since I received it 7 hours ago.
The meridian flip was just supposed to happen.
It failed. The mount went about 2 degrees past the meridian and just stopped.
I had the flip set to happen 5 degrees after the meridian.

I tested it indoors and it worked fine but then I set it to happen 1 degree after the meridian.

Tomorrow I'll try it outside with 1 degree. Hope it will work.

Other than this - everything is working just great!
The guiding is very good (to my standards). 0.5-0.6 total RMS.
On par with CEM40 which I had for some time. A bit better than RST-135. Much better than HEQ5.

Cuiv talks too much there - I couldn't stand that.

I googled - AM5 stops at 3 degrees after the meridian. It's hardcoded.
I set to perform the flip 1 degree after the meridian and it worked.

The newest ASCOM driver supports configuring the degrees after meridian, if the newest firmware is installed. The Indi driver does not do that yet....

I am aware of the recent changes.
Hopefully INDI driver will be updated soon.
