Hello,
Is it possible to build a Mount Model and reuse it next session?
I tried Save the alignment database and then Load the alignment database but I don't think it worked...
Thanks!

I have done this in the past. If I remembered to manually set eqmod to "standard sync" each time when I started up it worked ok. For some reason it is set to "add point on sync" each time i start eqmod, no matter what i do i can not save this option. Very annoying! Also, N star allignment never worked for me, the other methods worked fine.
You need to save the allignment points and park your mount, then it will automatically load them the next time you unpark (you should see that when you unpark it already has a number of points in the allignment) That is what I did and it seemed to work, if i remembered to use standard sync. Adding many points when plate solving to locate a target seemed to completely destroy the model, which is what is done with the default "add point on sync" setting. Crazy to have such a default option that is not saved, IMO.
EQMOD is the most confusing and weak point of my indi/ekos/kstars setup....
OK. Thanks!
Once I switched to "standard sync" from "add point on sync", performed the Mount Model routine, stopped/restarted INDI, it did keep the alignment!
And the system did keep the "standard sync" setting.
Will do more testing later (now the clouds came and it's late anyway).
