Simply going from my usual profile "EQ6-R@fedberry " to "Simulators" then try to connect.
Kstars crashes. I kill every INDI server/drivers on the PI then start kstars again and connect (Simulators) again. And it works...

FYI, Jasem made a change a month or two ago, that required an upgrade of both Indi and KStars. If you're using an old Indi with a new KStars, it would a crash just like you observed. Since it seems you are running from compiled recent software, please make sure you also have a recent indiserver.

Everything, Kstars, indiserver and drivers is built using the very last commits. :)

This specific error is indeed related to INDI... so after you install INDI, are you sure when you compile KStars, it is getting linked to most recently indiclient library ? Please double check nothing else is on your system that is getting linked instead. Run ldd on KStars and see which indiclient library it is linked to.
