Stallarmate App - do you people use it?

Hello,
Just wondering if people do use the App as opposed to the full-blown version of Stellarmate?
I do try the App periodically
It used to be a bit underdeveloped but now it seems to be quite good.
Is it reliable to use in a remote location?
(at my home location the App loses Stellarmate wi-fi and switches to a different/stronger wi-fi spot often).
Thanks!

Only to monitor what goes on... I can do so much more by using VNC to access the machine. Yes, it's slower (and has some display issues at times)... but there is a major disconnect between the actual StellarMate interface and the app interface. I personally don't want to learn it and have to deal with a small screen when I have 2 Surface Books, 1 Surface Pro and a Toshiba laptop in addition to my desktop I can use to access it.
As for WiFi...I installed a Mesh setup at my home and that took care of most of my dropped WiFi issues.
Having fun learning about the cosmos.
I also run an astrophotography site as a hobby.

Well... I played with the App a bit more.
Fixed WiFi issue.
But yeah... I found it to be very cumbersome to use.
(I am using an 8" tablet).
Some buttons are too small.
Sometimes it's slow to respond.
It works but...

This was maybe too ambitious but I tried to use it for a simple 2-panel mosaic.
I composed/imported the mosaic in Telescopius but the App failed to load the csv file.

Anyway... for now I will stick to my usual setup. I am talking about the mobile "go to a remote location" setup.
Full blown Stellarmate on MeLe with a 7" monitor, keyboard and mouse attached.
I have enough power to go for about 10 hours with the dew heaters on...

The UI is definitely improving with each release, but its early days and when the UI changes a lot then its back to the start of the learning curve to figure out what has changed. Fortunately I have been using Ekos directly for a few years now so there is fallback.

There are some major differences between the (tab) app and the OS, things that can't be done with the app - or that I wasn't able to do -, and I find the app to behave very differently from the OS.
Sequences, for instance, are not built the same way in the app and in the OS.
But it slowly grows and get better.
Very nice work, BTW.
